Has AGS inadvertently disrupted the in-game economy

Has AGS inadvertently disrupted the in-game economy and introduced excessive grinding? I used to play regularly, placing buy orders for daily items, crafting and selling them to accumulate New World Gold coins over time. This gradual progression allowed me to purchase items I needed, such as consumables, trophies, or specific armor pieces.

However, following the recent update, it has become incredibly challenging to generate income. My attempts to place buy orders for both Tier 5 and Prismatic dailies feel like I’m either stuck or losing money.

Due to the high costs associated with respecs and gem changes, I’m forced to focus solely on one activity, either PvP or a specific PvE mutation. I’ve been a player since the beta, but now I find myself struggling to understand how to earn gold effectively in this game.

Additionally, some crafting recipes seem absurd, such as the Prismatic block, which requires 50 Runic Voidstone, essentially 100 Powerful Gemstone Dusts. Where can I possibly obtain the funds for this daily?

Upgrading items like the Spore Flask, which is only useful for min-maxing in Savage Divide mutations, demands Petrified Hearts that are exceptionally rare.

It appears that AGS consistently makes the game less enjoyable by imposing restrictions until players voice their complaints. It seems they believe that gatekeeping is necessary to prevent boredom and player attrition, but this approach may not be the most enjoyable one.

Am I left with no choice but to engage in extensive farming for eight hours straight? This level of grinding is hardly enjoyable. The economy on every server is severely disrupted, with items not selling and nearly everything being bound to players. Mutations seem to cause us to lose money, and AGS’s economy team appears to be struggling. It’s the players who barely log in, participate in wars for 15 minutes, and then leave who seem to be making any significant amount of New World gold. Even those who invest hours each day in farming resources are struggling to accumulate a decent sum.
